NaVOBA and our friends at the National Veteran's Institute for Procurement (VIP) have partnered and are proud to announce our VIP Commercial training program. This targeted procurement-readiness program trains our Certified Veteran’s Business Enterprises (VBEs) to successfully compete for contracts with NaVOBA’s Corporate Allies outside of government contracting.
We worked with our Founding Partners and subject matter experts to equip veterans with essential skills for entering and expanding in the private, commercial sector. Participants will learn how to effectively compete, comply, and perform, while gaining access to supplier diversity representatives – crucial for achieving veteran business goals.
Graduates earn a certificate of completion, signaling their readiness for procurement and empowering them to effectively market their businesses. This comprehensive training will be held at the Bolger Center in Potomac, Maryland, from October 13-17, 2024, and is offered nationwide at no cost, covering accommodations, meals, and instruction.
We’re very grateful for the generosity of our amazing Corporate Allies and sponsors. This investment in developing opportunities for veteran-owned businesses in the private sector revolutionizes the landscape for VOBs to access all marketplaces where their veteran status is a competitive advantage.
Thank you.
NaVOBA’s mission is to create corporate contracting opportunities for America’s Veteran’s and Service-Disabled Veteran’s Business Enterprises (VBEs/SDVBEs) through certification, advocacy, outreach, recognition and education.
Thank you for your interest in the National Veteran Owned Business Association’s Certified Veteran’s Business Enterprise® (VBE) and Certified Service-Disabled Veteran’s Business Enterprise® (SDVBE) programs. This initiative creates a nationally recognized gold standard in certification for veteran-owned businesses of all sizes and enables corporate America to proactively source and confidently utilize businesses that are at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by U.S. military veterans.
