Reign Pads was born in 2019 after Demond and his team saw a need for women and young girls to be comfortable and dry during their monthly cycles. Reign prides theirselves in being an organization that selects the top 100 CEOs in Georgia and surrounding regions. They are on a mission to become a $1 billion per year company. This will be accomplished by having 3 million customers purchasing from Reign monthly. Recently, Reign has implemented an initiative with the local high schools where they are going to be bringing students in to learn about entrepreneurship and have a chance to meet other successful entrepreneurs to inspire their futures.

When and how did you start your business?


"'We started our business in 2019 because we saw the need for women and young girls to be comfortable and dry during their monthly cycles. While also covering women that are past the cycle stage that wear panty liners daily."

"Getting women to understand and get over the fact that a man was the Founder and CEO of this product."


What is the key to the success of your business?


"Delivering a quality product in a timely, consistent fashion."


What lessons learned can you share with people to make their business succeed?


"Believe in your marketing strategy and think outside the box. Many people thought a man being the marketing face of the company would be a bad idea. They didn't realize that would be the most intriguing piece. Here we go almost $15 million later on a $6 product in 3 years."


What pitfalls should they avoid?


"Invest in the company first verses the temptation of taking profits in the beginning to spend on personal consumption."

On October 22, NaVOBA celebrated the Minority Veteran's Business Enterprise of the Year Awards Ceremony during the 2024 National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) Conference in Atlanta. Hosted at Cuts Steakhouse, a sponsor of the event alongside Accenture, Shell, and Hilton, the event was complete with a full course meal, drinks, and networking. Mimi Lohm, NaVOBA's Chief Development Officer, kicked off the event and set the stage for the awardees. Keynote speakers included Brandi Rauch, General Manager of Supply Chain for Shell, Che' McFerrin, Associate Manager, Global Supplier Inclusion & Sustainability at Accenture, and Matthew Pavelek, NaVOBA's President. Before the announcements of the winners, NaVOBA surprised Don McKneely, Chairman & CEO of Minority Business News, with the 2024 Veteran's Business Champion Award. The program then went on to highlight two companies who have demonstrated excellence within their industries with the 2024 Veteran's Business Enterprise (VBE)® We Love Awards. The first VBE We Love Award went to Demond Crump, CEO of REIGN Premium Sanitary Napkins. Founded in 2019, REIGN Premium Sanitary Napkins specializes in providing innovative sanitary napkins and panty liners infused with a Nobel Prize-winning material featuring a super absorbent system.
